Hope

Life is not a bed of roses for many of us, we have come up in our life a very hard way. The desire to climb the social ladder would have been ignited during a fitting incident at a different point in time of our life span. The urge could have been due to lack of health care, poverty, betrayal within family or society, humiliation, caste, color, etc. But the underlying reason for most of these would have been “primarily due to education followed by money”. 

Once we had the self-realization to come up in life, I think most of us started working on our life transformation journey. We are now in different stages of our life, for example, we have people who are just at the beginning of their career, constructing the foundation of their future to some middle-aged people who are about to build their dream house and provide good education to their kids to some senior people who are focusing on their health and future peaceful retirement plan. We are programmed in such a way that once we get into a job we are committed to many of our big middle-class dreams. We never think of any unprecedented situations like health, security in the present corporate job, Pandemics like what we experience now. For many of the common low & middle-class people mitigating this pandemic is a real challenge. I think our dreams or to-do list in life are kept in pause. We have gone through the Kubler-Ross grief cycle (attached picture below). What is important at this point is the 3H Humanity, Health, and Hope. Whenever I face such a scenario I normally seek help either interacting with some mentors or listen to those songs which give us hope. 

 The song which I like to listen in loop mode when I am at the low of my life is from a movie called Pasanga (Kids) in Tamil. This song is sung by a late legend Dr.Shri.Bala Murali Krishna. Kudos to the lyricist -Yugabharathi and the composer James vasanthan for rendering such a soothing song. The mantra to face these crises has been beautifully explained in this song. Every word of this song has in-depth meaning. I thought of sharing this with you here you go
