a festive day

It’s a festive occasion the street looks busy, People were walking happily all throughout the street, and a woman from a house window was seeing the outside world. She was seeing a beautiful young couple walking with a pair of carry bags with a brand name Nalli on it’s, in one hand and the other hand was webbed to her husband. As they walk joyfully they make a small stopping at the Paani Puri stall which was at the doorsteps of the women’s house. That stall was not only rendezvous place to the couple, but it was to Youngsters, Children, and all other people. She hears the following Gossip from the young couple. The Young lady conveys to her husband that we should have gone for an expensive silk sari for the mother and a Silk Dhoti, shirt for the father. But the husband was in a confused state as they walked away paying the money. Then came youngster carrying A.K.Ahmed carry bags conveying that, hey this time we should go for some better shops as the quality of pants is not as convincing as last year. Then they started discussing new film release and success, flops of their favorite hero’s, slowly the topic moved to the college girls as they watched a gang of girls passing by. One was commenting, “Mamu that yellow chudi is cute. While the other guy was commenting on his bad sense, then the guy was laughing n saying I was commenting on her dress, not the girl.” While she was hearing all these comments a noisy whistle sound in her kitchen rushed her inside. She ran to switch it off. As the last bright sunshine of the day was piercing through her window, she started combing her blend of silver and black hair. She was sitting alone in the house watching the mega serials on her T.V. Still she could hear sounds from footsteps, laugh, scream, cry on the road as the festive day was reaching its business climax. She heard a knocking at her doorsteps, when a relative guy entered saying I am in a hurry, going shopping with my friends. Have this sweet box, as he disappeared saying his festive greeting. The next morning she woke up early, everyone in the neighborhood was wearing a brand new dress. She was having a wet towel in her hand and was drying her hair with the welcoming sun of the festive day, during that time she was enjoying the entire incidence done by the kith and kin in her neighboring house. She slowly walked inside the house, the house was provided with all facilities but no charm in her face. She was closely watching to the telephone (not even the inventor would have had such a stare to the device) then she heard a long ringing sound, she rushed to the device as if she was seeing the real god, as she heard the voice from the telephone her reaction was like welcoming sunlight for the blooming flower. Then she was reciprocating all her wishes and was speaking for 300 seconds. That 300 seconds was the real festival for her. She conveyed that happy message to all the neighbors and friends around her. As she sat down disappointingly with droplets of water coming out of her eyes!!! Guys hope u might have understood my narration, what I have written is just a leaf out of her life. Yes, she is no other than our lovely mum. She was the one to give us the first feeding, first food, first friend, first education but we are not able to reciprocate the real happiness to her on the crunch situation. She is not able to sense or see all the good and bad things happening to her son. Whoever may come and wish her, whatever money you send her, whatever facility you provide her, whatever rich costumes you give her. But if you are not there then it is nothing for her. She is missing us for the “Aarthi”. Guys the last bite of sweet was never taken by her, it’s always for you, and I think the last bite is still remaining in most of our house. Guys try to have that………………… with love keestu
